Course OverviewThis 5 ½ day offering begins with a four hour 'Intro to Advantage Workstation Cardiac Software Workshop' to be held on Tuesday afternoon lead by a GE Applications Specialist. The purpose of this class is to provide attendees with basic knowledge of the workstation to produce diagnostic coronary images The skills learned in this session will allow for a faster pace during the course resulting in a maximum number of cases reviewed. (This session is a mandatory part of the class. Unless attendees have extensive experience using GE's latest Cardiac CT software on the AW they should plan on attending this session.) The course is designed to fulfill the Cardiac CT Level 2 requirements for reading and live case acquisition and over the five days will include:

Faculty BackgroundDr. Min received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency, and cardiology fellowship at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Min is Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiology and Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Weill Cornell Medical College and the New York Presbyterian Hospitals in New York City, where his major research interest is the clinical value of cardiac CT angiography. He lectures both nationally and internationally on cardiac CT and has appeared on national television to discuss the impact of cardiac CT on clinical cardiology practice. He is co-author of the Cardiac CT Atlas and also serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. DeLago received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford, CT, and his fellowship in general and invasive cardiology at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, NY. Dr. DeLago is Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiology at the Albany Medical College and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Cardiology, Albany Medical Center Hospital. As part of the fellowship program, Dr. DeLago has incorporated Cardiac CT Angiography in the training since 2006. He was responsible for developing the Cardiac CT program, and has been Director of Cardiac CT Scanning at Capital Cardiology Associates since 2005. |
