CASE STUDIES
Tracheal Polyp/ LightSpeed A patient is admitted to our hospital
with expiratory stridor and intermittent respiratory distress. A conventional
X-ray of the thorax shows no abnormalities. The patient is examined on
the GE LightSpeed scanner with 2.5 mm slice thickness in the High-Speed
mode (table incrementation speed of 15 mm per second), 120 KV, 240 mA,
0.8 sec scan time.
