Aladin Cassette
The S/5 ADU System Aladin Cassette is a new concept for vaporizing anesthetic agent. Electronic control provides unique features such as automatic record keeping of set agent concentration, agent usage calculation and vaporizer control. The Aladin Cassette is virtually maintenance-free and can be calibrated using the S/5 ADU’s intuitive service menu. Lightweight and portable, it can be handled in any position without risk of leaks or subsequent changes to delivery. Aladin Cassettes are drug specific and are available to deliver enflurane, isoflurane, halothane, sevoflurane and desflurane anesthetic agents. Plus, each cassette is magnetically coded for its specific agent allowing the S/5 ADU to automatically identify the cassette being used. Aladin cassettes are unique in being included in the ADU hypoxic guard, ensuring 25% O2 in the fresh gas flow regardless of high agent concentration.
