Responsibility for managing GE charitable contributions to organizations in the health sector has transitioned to the GE Corporate Citizenship team. This change is occurring to drive more impactful giving together with better consistency, controllership and transparency in our giving practices.
Effective Monday, May 9, 2011, GE Healthcare no longer makes charitable monetary contributions to healthcare-related organizations nor charitable product donations to any organization. Requests for charitable monetary contributions from healthcare-related organizations must be submitted directly to the GE Corporate Citizenship team for review and consideration:
GE HCP Compliance
3135 Easton Turnpike
Fairfield, CT 06828
Requests for product donations sent to that address will not be reviewed.
GE and GE Healthcare remain committed to charitable giving organizations. GE and the GE Foundation have proactive multi-year commitments to domestic and international programs, including Developing Health in the United States and Developing Health Globally. Under this new strategic approach, the total amount donated this year to healthcare-related organizations and entities by GE will be larger than any year previously.
Thank you for your commitment to helping others and your interest in the General Electric Company. If you would like to learn more about GE's programs, please visit http://www.ge.com/citizenship/performance_areas/communities_philanthropy.jsp
