V. Raja is the President & CEO of GE Healthcare, India headquartered at Bangalore.

Joined GE in 1997 as CFO of GE Lighting, India and played an active role in restructuring the business and improving its profitability. From 2000 to 2002 was the GE India CFO cum Business Development Leader during which he was instrumental in completing the buyout of joint venture partner for GE Plastics in India. In addition, he led the FMP Program in India hiring and mentoring a number of FMPs who have subsequently moved to leadership positions in India and abroad in various GE companies.

In 2002 he moved to GE Healthcare first as GE Healthcare India CFO and immediately thereafter took up the role of GE Healthcare AGM CFO were he was instrumental in setting up the AGM Organization and Financial Metrics for the region. In July 2004, he took over as the Business Leader for GE Healthcare, India.

Outside of GE, Raja has over 17 years of experience in diverse industries such as Food, Leather, Batteries and in roles such as Sourcing, Commodity Buying, Human Resources, Legal etc.

Raja is Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary and Member of both the Institutions in India. He is married and has two daughters.
