President & CEO of Global Healthcare Services

Mike was just recently named President and CEO of Global Healthcare Services. Concurrent with this appointment, Mike was named an Officer of the General Electric Company.

Most recently, Mike was Vice President and General Manager, for United States Service. In this role, he led the United States profit and loss centers for all GEHC product line services which includes five zone imaging P&Ls, service sales, support operations, installation services, Clinical Asset Management & Services, Agility, Multi-Vendor, and product service P&Ls.

Mike joined GE in 1992 through the Manufacturing Management Program (MMP), where he held assignments in Burlington, Vermont, with GE Aerospace - Armament Systems, and in Milwaukee, Wis., with GE Medical Systems. Upon completing the MMP program in 1994, Mike took a position at GE Medical Systems, where he began working in the Service business in Parts Logistics. Mike moved to Paris, France in 1995 to lead the start-up of the Multi-Vendor and Biomedical Service businesses in Western Europe, the Middle East and South Africa. In 1999, he moved to Nashville, Tenn., and led the Supply Chain for the Multi-Vendor & Clinical Service businesses in the U.S. Mike moved to Milwaukee in 2000 to lead Six Sigma and eBusiness for the Service business. He then took the role of General Manager for the Multi-Vendor Service business in 2001. In 2003, his position expanded into General Manager, Multi-Vendor & Clinical Services. He was appointed General Manager, Americas Diagnostic Imaging Field Services in 2005. In January 2007, Mike’s role grew to include Global Service Support functions. In January 2009, Mike’s role was once again expanded into his current position.

Mike is active with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), he sits on the boards of the Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds, and he participates as a member of the Business Advisory Group for the Joint Commission.

Mike attended the University of Missouri-Rolla and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1991. He also attended an executive marketing program at the Kellogg School of Management.

Mike and his wife reside in Wisconsin with their two sons. He enjoys football, softball, basketball, golf, skiing and wine.
