Stuart Scott joins GE Healthcare from GE Consumer & Industrial in Louisville, Kentucky, where he most recently served as Vice President and CIO. Stuart will be responsible for leading the Information Management teams as they integrate Bio-Sciences and Technologies’ infrastructures, systems and processes. He will also lead the team to drive key IM initiatives supporting the technological advancement and growth of GE Healthcare. Stuart joined GE in 1988 as part of the Edison Engineering Leadership Program at GE Appliances. He has held IT management positions in Sales, Distribution, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service and Engineering in GE Appliances before becoming CIO for GE Lighting Europe in July 1997. Education: Stuart earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Engineering from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. He also holds an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. In October of 1998, Stuart was appointed General Manager & CIO of GE Lighting globally. Prior to the GE Consumer & Industrial integration, Stuart was the Vice President and CIO for GE Industrial Systems. |
