Reinaldo Garcia has served in a number of strategic leadership roles at General Electric Company for the past 20 years. He has a diverse background in general management, sales, service, sourcing, finance, business development and manufacturing. In January 2006, Reinaldo Garcia was named President & CEO of GE Healthcare, International.

As GE Healthcare International's leader, Garcia will focus on accelerating GE Healthcare’s growth by expanding customer relationships and developing new international business markets across Europe, Middle East Africa, China and Asia Markets. Reinaldo Garcia is based in Buc, France.

Most recently, he was President and CEO of Diagnostic Imaging, a leader in advanced X-ray, CT, MR and Functional Imaging systems and clinical applications. Prior to this role, he served as President and CEO of GE Healthcare Technologies-International, based in France; President and CEO of GE Medical Systems-Europe; President and CEO of GE Clinical Services; VP of Services and VP of Manufacturing in GE Medical Systems-Europe.

Reinaldo started his career with GE Lighting in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1985 in the Financial Management Program. In 1987, he joined the GE Corporate Audit Staff where he held a number of assignments across GE businesses in the U.S., Europe and Asia. In 1993, he became General Manager of Sourcing Operations for GE Electrical Distribution and Control, based in Plainville, Connecticut. In January 1995, he was appointed Vice President Manufacturing for GE Medical Systems Europe, and in December of that same year, he became Vice President of Services for GE Medical Systems Europe. In 1998, he returned to the United States to become President and CEO of GE Clinical Services. In September 1999, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of GE Medical Systems Europe. Subsequently in December of the same year, he was named President & CEO of GE Medical Systems Europe. In January 2003, his role expanded and he became the President & CEO of GE Medical Systems International, comprising both Europe and Asia.

Reinaldo attended law school at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He holds a degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA.
