Jean-Michel Cosséry was appointed Chief Marketing Officer of GE Healthcare (GEHC) on 8 April 2004. In this role, Jean-Michel manages all functional marketing groups, overseeing the strategic marketing, Business Analysis, Health Economics, Pricing and Medical Strategy initiatives and activities for GEHC. Currently, he is leading the development and implementation of GE Healthcare's Imagination Breakthroughs - new products or solutions which seek to deliver "organic growth with material impact" (i.e., revenues over $50-100 million within three to five+ years). Jean-Michel was made an Officer of GE in 2006 and received the GE Chairman's award for Initiative and Commercial Innovation. He is a member of the GE Marketing Council and of the GE Commercial Council, chaired by Jeff Immelt. Previously, Jean-Michel spent more than three years at Amersham as EVP Global Marketing, Amersham Health. Prior to joining Amersham, Jean-Michel held senior positions at various organizations in the pharmaceutical industry including Laboratoire Fournier, Novartis, and Serono. Jean-Michel received an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management. He has a PhD with honors in Nuclear Chemistry and Neurology, and conducted post-doctoral research in Neuropharmacology at the National Institute of Health in the United States. Additionally, he holds a PharmD with honors in Pharmacology, and a MScPharm from the University of Pharmacy in Paris. |
