Digital Radiography has revolutionized the way clinicians use x-ray. The inherent faster patient throughput of DR, improved Dose and Image Quality performance are being realized in many centers in the UK Furthermore, the introduction of Advanced Applications associated with GE Digital RAD has had a great impact on improving diagnostic accuracy, enhancing specificity & potentially altered patient outcomes already, far beyond switching to just DR imaging.

This meeting reviews the role and application of DR in healthcare provision through the experiences of expert users and GE specialists.
