John attended Michigan State University and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1986. He then attended Purdue University where he received a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. He joined GE Medical Systems in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1988 on the MMP Program and held a series of cross-functional leadership positions in both manufacturing and engineering and received an MBA from Northwestern University in 1996. John then transferred to France with GE Medical Systems where he became the Global Manager of Vascular Systems Engineering. In 1998 he was appointed General Manager, Global CT Engineering in New Berlin, Wisconsin. John was appointed to General Manager, Customer Advocacy in August 2000 and in September, 2001. John assumed his present role as Vice President and General Manager, Americas Service GE Medical Systems. In January 2004 John’s role was expanded to include Global Healthcare Services. In March 2005 John was promoted to the role of Vice President and General Manager, Global MR Business. In October, 2007, John was promoted to President & CEO, Medical Diagnostics. John is married to Laura and they have three children, Genevieve, Christopher and Claudine. Enjoys all sports, especially racquetball, running and golf. |
