Aspen Health Forum

GE Healthcare is working with medical leaders in the Olympic Movement to advance the use of innovative technologies that are helping to provide insight into the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and heart disease.
Known for bringing together world leaders, executives, advocates and scholars, the Aspen Institute's Health Forum fostered uniquely inclusive discussions probing challenging issues and developments in healthcare. This sponsorship, funded by GEHC and GE, put GEHC in the center of the healthcare debate and furthers our thought leadership and communications goals for Early Health and Healthcare Re-imagined. The event was attended by many of the world's foremost scientists and clinicians along with 500 top policymakers, journalists, public officials, investors, and "educated" consumers.

GEHC had three major programs on the agenda:

  • A GEHC-sponsored "Evening Exchange" event featuring leading physicians and Olympic athletes hosted by Joe Hogan along with Jimmy Roberts from NBC.
  • Lunchtime plenary panel entitled "Hospital of the Future" with CEO Joe Hogan
  • Panel presentation entitled "Beyond the X-Ray/21st Century Imaging," with Chief Medical Officer, Bob Honigberg
