Hello, I'm Kevin Boyle, Manager for Functional Imaging Workstations at GE Medical Systems. Welcome to the 48th annual Society of Nuclear Medicine show!
In today's rapid paced medical imaging environment, the need to analyze and assess the diagnostic image quickly and accurately has never been more critical.
Adding to the complexity of the situation is an imaging environment, which may include equipment of many generations and even of several medical-imaging vendors. Combined with this, the equipment may often span multiple locations, thereby creating virtual clinics.
Here at GE Medical Systems, our continuing focus and efforts are around providing our customers with the best imaging solutions possible. This has brought us a unique challenge for our GE workstations: how to bring the entire virtual clinic together in a manner that is fast and efficient for both the technologists and the physicians working in it.
We are excited to provide our customers with the optimum solution that offers unprecedented speed, flexibility and departmental connectivity. This was accomplished by expanding and more over merging many features of our top 2 workstations - eNTEGRA and POWERstation. By enhancing the eNTEGRA with many of the robust cardiac applications and connectivity tools developed on POWERstation, GE offers an excellent solution for customers with equipment of any type.
Be sure to stop by our booth to see the latest clinical applications now available on eNTEGRA. These new applications include MyoSPECT, the Segami Suite of cerebral analysis applications, PET/CT imaging and fusion, and productivity enhancements like the new eNTEGRA physician InBOX and other report generation options for both local and remote use.
Furthermore, the POWERstation now includes the ability to connect with the Millennium camera series, in addition to many clinical enhancements including a quantitative brain analysis package and additional cardiac analysis tools from Cedars. The most revolutionary feature has been to move the POWERstations' entire Vision clinical library to the same PC based hardware utilized by eNTEGRA. This allows both workstation options to make the most of performance enhancements on this rapidly developing platform and makes them easily upgradeable to tomorrow's technologies.
We hope that you will take the time to stop by, as well as read through the materials here and become more familiar with the exciting developments in functional imaging at GE Medical Systems. See you at the SNM!
