Clinical Performance Improvement (CPI) is a nine-month program that focuses on identification and implementation of quality and cost opportunities. CPI combines service line expertise with a data driven, Six Sigma methodology to work with physicians and hospital staff to achieve results oriented change.

CPI ensures sustainable performance improvement by utilizing Six Sigma statistical methodology.

  • Define and measure through data analysis, benchmarking and interviews with key physicians and staff
  • Present Opportunities Report to physician, staff and administration: share data analysis/benchmarking/best practice methodologies; quantify opportunities
  • Develop implementation plan and prioritize opportunities through task force teams
  • Continue additional data collection, share with physicians, and support implementation
  • Sustain improvements through dashboard development for key metrics and subscription to performance management tool, DYNAMO
