Versatile mainstream or sidestream monitoring

The Dual CO₂ module is a complete gas analyzer that is ready for both mainstream and sidestream CO₂ monitoring. The rugged design, solid state mainstream sensor, which can be fitted with either mainstream or sidestream adapter, provides versatile CO₂ monitoring. In both modes, the module provides CO₂ concentration and respiratory rates calculation automatically. Its rapid response time provides crisp, accurate, diagnostic waveform on a breath-by-breath basis or selectable 5, 10, or 20 second averaging.

The Dual CO₂ module is compatible with the Solar® modular products. Including CO₂ measurement as an integral part of these advanced patient monitors offering many advantages over stand alone devices. The inspired CO₂, expired CO₂, respiration rate and capnograph are easily viewed along with other important vital sign information in one convenient location. Selectable alarm limits for these values including no breath detect are incorporated into the overall alarm structure of the system. The values are stored in memory which can be printed. The compact modular design reduces clutter while allowing modules to be easily moved between beds reducing department cost.
