RN-BSN PATHWAY Program
GE Medical Systems is proud to offer this RN-BSN PATHWAY distance learning degree program to you, in partnership with Global HealthEd, a consortium of accredited colleges and universities that provide education to working professionals.
Why Earn your BSN Degree?
Earn more with a BSN degree
Completing the BSN degree allows nurses to reach higher levels of income and move more rapidly toward management and leadership positions with greater financial rewards.
Be a leader in your field
Nurses who have earned their BSN degrees possess a required credential for advancement into administrative and supervisory roles. As only a third of nurses have completed baccalaureate education, earning your BSN degree sets you apart from the rest of the competition in the nursing profession.
Prepare yourself for new requirements
BSN degree prepares you for the recommendation from The National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice that two-thirds of the nursing workforce hold at least a Bachelor’s degree by 2010.
Why choose the RN-BSN PATHWAY distance learning degree program?
The Security of an Accredited Degree
The BSN program is offered through the College of West Virginia, which is regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and approved by the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses. The program is also accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, so your degree is transferable, should you decide to continue your education.
The Convenience of Distance Learning
Videotapes provide classroom-style education and, together with course textbook(s) and additional readings, allow you to complete your degree at your own pace in the comfort of your own home.
Unique One-to-One Academic Guidance
Students are assigned to facilitators, working professionals in your industry, who provide one-to-one mentoring and assistance in achieving the program’s objectives.
The Support from Peers
The Internet Communication Center Website, a centralized interaction portal for students, instructors, facilitators, and program administrators, allows you to participate in online forums, discussion sessions, and direct e-mail to the faculty and staff of the program.
