PathSpeed CR
Executive Summary
The PathSpeed CR course is designed to provide classroom lecture and hands-on training in regards to the installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting (to FRU level) of the PathSpeed CR and the PathSpeed CR QA workstation.

This course is intended for the service engineer who will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining a PathSpeed CR and PathSpeed CR QA workstation. Supplemental information and hands on labs are also provided for the PathSpeed CR system.

Course Competencies
  1. Perform PathSpeed CR workstation software Load From Cold/ Load From Warm, 100% of the time without support when upgrading, or after workstation maintenance.
  2. Verify workstation monitor calibration 100% of the time without support after monitor installation, replacement or planned maintenance.
  3. Utilize basic set of UNIX commands 90% of the time (cd, ls, pwd, more, rm, vi, cp, cat) for the purpose of identifying directory tree structure and configuration file location.
  4. Perform installation of the PathSpeed CR (MP & SP & PRID), and PathSpeed CR workstation 100% of the time without support.
  5. Configure the PathSpeed CR and PathSpeed CR workstation 100% of the time for DICOM CR integration during installation.
  6. Install, configure and calibrate the PathSpeed CR Reader 90% of the time without support during installation.
  7. Operate the PathSpeed CR & PathSpeed CR QA workstation 100% of the time without support while installing or servicing the equipment.
  8. Use system tools/procedures to successfully troubleshoot basic system faults 90% of the time without support.
  9. Startup and shutdown the PathSpeed CR and PathSpeed CR QA system 100% of the time without support during system maintenance and repair.
  10. Perform system level checks on PathSpeed CR & PathSpeed CR QA workstation components using documented procedures 90% of the time without support during system maintenance.
  11. Perform system level calibrations to ensure image quality in order to meet customer expectations.
  12. Operate the PathSpeed CR and PathSpeed CR QA workstation emulating customer utilization.
Special Considerations:
Students should come to course with laptop, network interface card, network cable, and CD Rom Drive.
