Sridhar B. Seshadri
Vice President & General Manager, Healthcare Solutions

Sridhar B. Seshadri Sridhar Seshadri's wide-ranging breadth of engineering and marketing knowledge adds more than 15 years of experience to the executive team at GE Medical Systems Information Technologies.

In 1982 Sridhar earned his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Bangalore University in India. In 1985 earned a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) in 1993.

In 1985 Sridhar was appointed lead engineer, Imaging Systems with the University of Pennsylvania's Radiology Department. He started the Medical Informatics Group, which developed and evaluated Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS). While with the University of Pennsylvania, Sridhar held many positions, including manager, Imaging Systems and director of capital projects, Information Systems and Engineering. He was the principal investigator for several grants from the National Institute of Health on evaluation of PACS technology.

From there, Sridhar joined Kodak Health Imaging where he held the positions of manager, New Business Development and director, Product Management & Strategic Planning.

Sridhar joined GE Medical Systems in November, 1998, as business manager, IT Services. He later served as general manager, IT Professional Services and general manager, Global Upstream Marketing for GE Medical Systems' Integrated Imaging Solutions business.

Sridhar has published widely in the area of PACS and is an author of more than 90 publications and two book chapters.

In July 2000 Sridhar accepted the position of vice president and general manager, Healthcare Solutions with GE Medical Systems Information Technologies.
