& white ultrasound system, 500mA X-Ray with IITV, and Vingmed CFM 725.
The present CT tube continue to be used with unblemished image quality
even after crossing 4 Lakh slices.

The CT MAX 640 unit has
been working satisfactorily the last 6 years. We really appreciate the
performance the CT Scan Unit and excellent after sales service by the
COCHIN WIPRO GE Service team. After the expiry the warranty of one year,
we have taken Maxicare (comprehensive) service contract for all these
years uptime of the unit was almost 100%.

CT Synergy at CDR
Hits 1100+ in one month
A unique milestone of
productivity in a CT centre was achieved by the CDR CT Scan Centre located
at the St. John™s Hospital, Bangalore. In the month of May 2000 this centre
which runs a GE CT Synergy Plus scanned over 1100 patients! The CDR team
at this centre led by Dr Radhika achieved this remarkable feat and delivered
high quality care to the patients. On a single day the Centre has scanned
76 patients.
At a function hosted
by the CDR Hospitals Group to mark this event on 2 June 2000, Dr C Dayakar
Reddy Chairman of the CDR Group shared with us his thoughts & experiences.
