Dr. Nikit Mehta Workshop Furthering our commitment to education, another TiP School starts off this time in Maharashtra. Jointly organized by Dr. Nikit Mehta and Wipro GE, the school will hold annual workshops in Ultrasound. In May, this year, the first programme was conducted at Miraj - Maharashtra.

Luminary speakers from Mumbai and Pune spoke and demonstrated techniques in radiology ultrasound and also in echocardiography to over 180 sonologists.

The difference here was that the registrants were given the opportunity to practice what they learnt: Hands-On-Training. A unique point of this program was the special workshop on Interventional Ultrasound, where this technique was demonstrated live on nine different cases. Dr. Nikit Mehta

On the GE Biplane LCN+ Neurovascular Cathlab installed at Sri Sathya Sai Hospital various procedures have been performed including embolisations, 3D Angiograms, 2D Cerebral, Spinal Angiograms.

The GE LCV + Cathlab installed at Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre performed 44 cases in two days with 20 and 24 on each day that included diagnostic Angiograms and Angioplasties. This was achieved with the unique combination of the following features :
