GE OEC 9800 Mobile Cathlab is another first in cardiovascular and interventional imaging from GE. The OEC 9800 Digital Mobile Imaging System, breakthrough platform in imaging offers the only real-time 1k x 1k imaging resolution technology available in a mobile system for Cardiac Vascular Imaging.
The OEC 9800 Cardiac system sets a new standard for mobile imaging systems by providing image capture, recording and management capabilities comparable to the latest fixed-room fluoroscopic imaging systems, at a significantly reduced cost.

There are many questions asked by Cardiologists as to whether, GE OEC 9800 can meet the requirements of demanding cardiologists today.

Can the GE OEC 9800 Systems provide clinical versatility?

  • GE OEC 9800 meets all cardiac, peripheral, abdominal and neurovascular angiography and interventional needs.
  • One system can meet all angiography and interventional needs anywhere in the hospital.

Does the GE OEC 9800 meet with the demands of Cardiac Imaging?

  • Provides image quality to meet the needs of cardiologists.
  • Enables sure, definitive diagnosis.
  • Capability to perform all interventional procedures.
  • Flexibility of use.
  • Cardiac specific 1k x 1k CCD Camera.
  • 1,000 line digital monitor display.
  • 16 bit image processing.
  • Auto Trak TM imaging software.
  • Allows unparalleled imaging with acquisition and display at 25 frames per second.

1k x 1k dynamic digital image capture at up to 30 frames per second

The GE OEC Series 9800 is available with a high- powered digital cine mode. GE OEC's 1k2 imaging allows the system to be equipped with digital recording and playback at speeds up to 25 frames during real-time fluoroscopy and pulsed, digital cine modes and instant Cine Loop Playback.

Easy setup and Post Processing

  • Subtraction and Roadmapping from footswitch.
  • Subtraction and Non-Subtracted Playback.
  • Re-Masking from any stored image.
  • Re-Registration (Pixel Shifting).

Plus... a rotating anode X-ray Tube with efficient tube housing cooling. Even the most demanding fluoroscopic applications can be handled by the Series 9800 without heat-related limitations.
Also, Review Digital Runs in Your Office.

Does the GE OEC 9800 provide precise positioning?

  • Unique OEC Super iuClr design allows all views necessary for cardiac imaging.
  • Overscan of 58 degrees with counterbalanced action makes positioning faster and easier for technologists and physicians.
  • C-arm orbital and cranial-caudal rotations are counterbalanced with precise friction control.
  • No need for constant locking and unlocking of rotation locks.
  • Faster, easier, more precise positioning - no need for motorized rotations.

How are the archived image on a CD viewed?

The GE OEC DICOM View Workstation is a high-end PC based image review station, equipped with special software that allows the C-Arm's removable media to be reviewed in real-time or frame-by-frame.
The GE OEC 9800 can be easily set up in any sterile room as the C-arm, Table and the Monitor Console are on wheels. It needs only a 15 amps single phase power supply with minimal air-conditioning.
