FOR DECADES, the products of Marquette Medical Systems and GE Medical Systems have helped healthcare providers fight the battle against heart disease in hospitals around the world. Today, as a subsidiary of GE Medical Systems, GE Marquette is aligned with the strong network of Wipro GE, reaching out to healthcare facilities across the Indian subcontinent - bringing innovative technology to cardiac care facilities.
Together, Wipro GE and GE Marquette have established a first-of-its-kind framework to provide healthcare professionals with an integrated approach to clinical decision-making. Our breadth of diagnostic systems, both invasive and non-invasive, patient monitoring and cardiovascular information systems has allowed us to redefine the boundaries of cardiac technology.
While expanding the scope and reach of its cardiac technology, GE Marquette continues to focus on a philosophy that has driven its success for more than 25 years - beginning with its first MUSE computer-based central storage and analysis system for electrocardiography (ECG) created in 1974. This philosophy is based on a commitment to developing technologies that improve the quality of patient care while addressing the productivity challenges facing healthcare professionals.
Today, this means increasing healthcare professionals’ accessibility to information through functional and productivity enhancements, improving the quality of cardiac care and reaching more patients in the same amount of time. Innovative diagnostics and preventive care tools also play an important role in helping facilities control healthcare costs at a time when our customers are being asked to fight the battle of heart disease with less.
GE Marquette provides customers around the world with a broad, leading cardiology product offering to meet their clinical and productivity needs including ECG systems, exercise stress testing systems, cardiac Cathlab monitoring, cardiac defibrillators and cardiovascular information systems and software. The GE Marquette product offering, when combined with the diagnostic capabilities of GE’s MRI, Ultrasound, CT, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine and PET systems, is the most extensive and innovative cardiology product line available today.
Our recent win of the first 16-bed networked monitoring system at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Dhaka, Bangladesh makes it a significant monitoring site in the Indian subcontinent.
Our partnerships with Wipro GE will serve our customers better, and we will thus be reaching our full market potential in the years to come.
