You can choose any of the following formats
for printing and posting the TV Schedule.
All formats are available online in printer-friendly
versions at www.thepatientchannel.com/main_nav.html
Week at a Glance - we have provided
two ways for you to see the entire week's
programming:
"Monday - Sunday" -
a chronological list of program titles
and times for the entire week. This version
lets staff and patients quickly find out
what's playing at a specific time of the
day. This schedule is similar to the TV
guide included with your local newspaper
and is best utilized in waiting areas
and at Nurses stations. It can also be
inserted in Patient Admission or Welcome
kits.
"Sorted by Category"
- a list of program titles and times sorted
by disease state or category of programming.
This version lets staff and patients quickly
find all of the programs airing through
out the week within a specific category.
Use this version as an "education
prescription" by circling recommended
programs within a category for a specific
patient (e.g. Diabetes). There is also
room at the bottom of the schedule for
patients, family and friends to write
notes or questions about the programs.
This version is best utilized in Patient
Admission or Welcome kits.
Day at a Glance - a chronological
list of program titles and times for each
day of the week. This version lets staff
print the TV schedule for specific days
of the week without having to print the
entire week's programming. Staff and patients
can quickly find out what's playing at
a specific time, on a specific day of
the week. This schedule is similar to
the TV guide included with your local
newspaper.
Schedule by Category - a list
of programming divided into 6 categories.
This version lets staff print the TV schedule
for a specific disease or condition. Use
this version as an "education prescription"
by circling recommended programs within
a category for a specific patient (e.g.
Diabetes). There is also room at the bottom
of the schedule for patients, family and
friends to write
notes or questions about the programs.
You can also utilize this sheet to assist
in documenting compliance with regulatory
compliance patient education guidelines.
