Add your own copy to our posters to customize
them for your facility. Attached is one
example of how Gulf Coast Hospital has
customized a Patient Channel poster, adding
their hospital name and legal disclaimer
with their own information at the bottom.
On the back, Gulf Coast prints the Day
At A Glance program schedule in black
and white. The poster/schedule is then
distributed daily to patients by food
service hostesses. The nursing staff instructs
patients on the appropriate offerings
and documents the education as usual.

We
reduced the size of the posters to 8 1/2
by 11 and have framed them and hung them
on the walls in the patient care areas for
patients and visitors to see. We also have
the table tents in the cafeteria. I make
a point in my documentation to indicate
that besides discussion and printed literature,
the patient is encouraged to view the programs
on the Pt. Ed channel.
