Guidelines for Internal TV Message System

Because patient education, in place of entertainment TV, is important to many hospitals, many Patient Channel subscribers have programmed TV sets so that only channels carrying educational programming are available. If patients choose, they can pay to receive entertainment programming, however, educational programming, including The Patient Channel, is now the hospital's default television offering.

Add information about The Patient Channel to existing internal TV message system to let patients and their families know that you have The Patient Channel available in your facility.

New Employee Orientation

Include information about The Patient Channel during new employee orientations. Let new staff members know that this channel is airing throughout your hospital and tell them how they can utilize this patient education resource.
