PROGRAMMING
AND AD STANDARDS

Advertising
on the co-branded Patient Channel and website
will conform to the following standards:
- The
Patient Channel recognizes its responsibility
to review all advertising for
truth, legal requirements and appropriateness
for patient viewing. As such,
all advertisements will be reviewed and approved
by the Program Advisory
Board and the Ethics, Legal and Regulatory
Review Board prior to airing on
The Patient Channel

The Patient Channel will limit sponsorship
ads to five minutes of commercials
per one-half hour, not including ad vignettes
or billboards

The Patient Channel does not accept any advertising
that promotes tobacco,
alcohol or other non-healthy products

The Patient Channel does not accept any advertising
for pharmaceutical
products that have not been FDA approved for
the indications addressed in
the advertisement

All advertising approved for airing on The
Patient Channel will be deemed
approved for the web site as well. Content
that is intended solely for the web
site will be approved by the Program Advisory
Board and the Ethics, Legal
and Regulatory Review Board prior to airing
on the web site

The Patient Channel will not directly endorse
any of the products advertised
on The Patient Channel or the website
Programming
Standards:

Our
programming is intended to provide patient
education, care management, and health and
wellness information to our audience.

The content of our programming is accurate,
valid, and current.

The
content of our programming will be objective,
independent, and free from influence.

All programming will be reviewed before airing
by medical authorities to assure that the
information provided meets those standards.
