Sagittal
images are performed using T1
contrast, and a fat-suppressed,
T2-weighted sequence. The function
of sagittal images is to evaluate
carpal alignment and assess volar
and dorsal margins of the TFCC.
Sagittal images should cover from
the extensor carpi ulnaris tendon
to the first extensor compartment.
