Using appropriate pulse sequencing, optimized FSE sequencing of the shoulder will enable diagnostic information regarding the labrum, capsule, articular cartilage and rotator cuff tendons. In addition, the inherent advantage of fast spin echo techniques to diminish susceptibility artifact in the shoulder proves invaluable in evaluating the postoperative patient.
