* On units with either the LX 8.2.5, 5.8 platforms and late software revisions, an "Improved Fat Sat" technique is used to provide fat suppression. For the Improved Fat Sat technique, it is recommended that the TEeff on the images with fat suppression be lowered to approximately 60ms (from 84ms for conventional fat sat). Both tissue contrast and SNR will be maintained.
