The Probe2000 Upgrade adds multi-voxel spectroscopy for customers who already have single voxel Probe. Multi-voxel Probe enables analysis of a larger volumes of interest while maintaining the ability to breakdown the analysis to smaller areas of interest. The results can be displayed as a spectra or a color metabolite map.

provides bolus detection for contrast enhanced exams and automated table stepping for peripheral vascular exams. Bolus detection eliminates the guesswork on contrast injections by automatically detecting contrast arrival and triggering image acquisition. Automated table stepping enables multi-phasic imaging at single or multi-stations. SmartPrep requires a 256 MB BAM and a Reflex 50 array processor is recommended.
diffusion weighted imaging provides isotropic diffusion-weighted EPI images along with T2 EPI and FLAIR EPI images. The pulse sequences uses a single-shot, motion-resistant technique capable of imaging the entire brain in less than 30 seconds with B-values up to 1000 sec/mm2. Image post-processing is automated. Cardiac delivers new diagnostic tools to the Signa LX platform for the evaluation of cardiac anatomy and function. The Double IR and Triple IR FSE sequences provide black blood imaging of cardiac anatomy with high quality suppression of blood and fat. The FastCine sequence provides white blood imaging throughout the complete cardiac cycle for functional evaluation, and Tagging adds 1D and 2D saturation pulses for wall motion analysis. Cardiac does required the advanced gating cable and leads. IDrive Pro is recommended in conjunction with Cardiac for improved scan place prescription.
