Peter was appointed as President and CEO of GE Healthcare Life Sciences in March of 2006, previously holding the position of President of Protein Separations for both GE Healthcare and Amersham before that from March 2003. He was named Vice President, Protein Separations in 1999, supervising a number of acquisitions that strengthened Amersham’s leadership position in the industry. Peter has held various positions within the Protein Separations business since joining Amersham in 1983, including three years in the United States with responsibility for Manufacturing and Industrial Molecular Biology, and in Production Operations at Cleveland, Milwaukee and Pittsburgh sites. Peter has a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm, Sweden. |
