Rogerio Patrus was named President & CEO for GE Healthcare Latin America in February 2011. He joined the Healthcare business from General Electric Latin America, where he was the President and CEO since May 2009. He is based in São Paulo, Brazil, where he is responsible for all company operations in the Latin American countries.

Patrus initiated his career in GE in 2000, and became the leader of GE Transportation South America until 2003, when he was transferred to the United States to be responsible for International Services for GE Transportation. He also held the position of President and CEO of GE Plastics Latin America, unit of plastic items, which was sold to SABIC Innovative Plastics, in August 2007.

The executive graduated from the Brazil’s Federal University of Minas Gerais in Civil Engineering.

Patrus has a broad range of experience in marketing and commercial operations in the various countries of Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, where he worked for over 20 years.
