Auto Image Pasting

Enhance diagnostic speed and accuracy

Image paste

Auto Image Paste ( Discovery XR650, and Definium 6000)

Workflow:

With a laser beam on the patient, the user indicates the upper border and the lower border of the image and pushes the exposure button.
> The system automatically calculates the required number of images
> The tube and receptor automatically move to the first position, expose
> The tube and receptor then move to the second position, expose
> … (this procedure is repeated to maximum 5 images)
> Finally it automatically pastes the individual images to a full size full resolution DICOM image on the system console

Excellent, consistent image quality over the full length. No transfer of images to another workstation required.

Semi-auto image paste

Semi-Auto Image Paste (Definium™ 5000 )

The Definium 5000 permits spine and long bone imaging with Semi-Auto Image paste. The image acquisition is allowed via operator command of U-arm movement and automated image pasting via the Definium 5000 operator console.

Workflow:

Very simple process:
> Manually expose the required images by stepwise lowering the U-arm
> The Images are automatically pasted on the system console

Each acquired image is a “sub-image.” The system aligns and pastes the sub-images into a single “composite” image up to a length of 150 cm. The pasted composite image is one long image that has continuous anatomical content with the same processing applied throughout.

No transfer of images to another workstation required.

The following images are stored for the exam and are available for viewing:
> The acquired raw sub-images
> The processed sub-images
> Any re-processed sub-images and pasted sub-images and pasted composite images
