Pneumothorax in the apex region was difficult to see on the X-ray image. On the VolumeRAD slices a bilateral pneumothorax is very conspicuous.

Findings
Assessment of pneumothorax is hazardous
on the plain portable chest X ray (Fig. 1).
On the VolumeRAD slices a bilateral pneumothorax
is very conspicuous (Fig. 2 and 3).
