Airway Adapters

We offer reusable and disposable airway adapters in two configurations, straight or elbow. The reusable adapters are autoclaveable at 121°C / 250°F. Due to small tidal volumes in infants, we offer special pediatric adapters to minimize dead space and CO2 retention.

Key Benefits

  • Translucency permits visual inspection
  • Connects securely to sample lines
  • Reusable airway adapters can be autoclaved
  • Latex-Free

Anesthesia Gas Sampling Lines

Anesthesia gases are strong dissolvents. Gas sampling lines made of plain PVC may cause the plasticizers to deteriorate resulting in reading inaccuracies. To help ensure optimal performance of the gas monitor, only Original PVC/PE anesthesia gas sampling lines should be used, particularly in the operating room.

Our disposable anesthesia gas sampling lines are made of bonded co-extruded PVC/PE. The inner layer of PE helps prevent the plasticizers from dissolving promoting accuracy and optimizing patient safety, while the outer layer of PVC remains flexible and helps prevent kinks.

All of our anesthesia gas sampling lines are tested and validated for use with our monitors. This helps ensure accurate measurements and reliability. Sampling lines are offered in a variety of lengths for routine and special applications.

Key Benefits

  • Used for multi-gas sampling
  • Polyethylene and polyvinyl composition blocks anesthetic provides more accuracy in readings
  • Disposable for single use
  • Latex-Free

CO2 Sampling Lines

Our disposable CO2 sampling lines can be used when monitoring CO2, O2, and N2O. They are tested and validated for use on all our monitors, which helps ensure accurate measurements and reliability. Our disposable CO2 sampling lines are offered in two different lengths.

  • Accurate measurements
  • Disposable for single use
  • Latex-Free

NOTE: Do not use CO2 sampling lines when anesthetic agents are present.

Nasal Sampling Lines

Monitoring etCO2 is a non-invasive monitoring method for non-intubated patients during conscious sedation, regional anesthesia, in emergency rooms and in critical care units. For these patients, GE Healthcare offers cannulae to be placed in the patient’s nostril. The nasal cannula with sampling line is available in a variety of sizes.

  • Cannula delivers O2 and samples CO2 simultaneously or CO2 individually
  • Available in Adult or Pediatric sizes
  • Luer Lock connections fit most manufacturer’s systems and standard O2 valve outlets
  • Latex-Free

Water Traps

Water traps help address problems of moisture and humidity associated with airway gas monitoring. A filter barrier, impermeable to liquids, helps prevent water, secretions or particles from entering the monitor. The water traps snap into place and are designed for economy and ease of use, while optimizing patient safety. We offer the patented D-fend water traps for use with GE Datex-Ohmeda Anesthesia monitors as well as the Aqua-Knot II for use with Infrared (IR) gas analysis systems as well as GE Healthcare SAMÒ and RAMS modules. The product line is vast and provide for use with a broad range of flow rates.

  • Protect your gas analysis systems from moisture and contaminants
  • Disposable, low cost
  • Use over broad range of flow rates
  • Easy to remove and replace

Capnography

Capnography allows the clinician to assess changes in cardiopulmonary status and to objective validate the degree of ventilation/perfusion mismatch by providing etCO2 values to compare with arterial blood gases. We offer a variety of supplies for monitors configured with capnography. GE Healthcare also offers a CapnoFlex CO2 monitoring system and supplies, which gives the clinician both mainstream and low-flow sidestream CO2 monitoring. For infants or non-intubated patients, we offer CAPNOFlex Low Flow supplies. This technology provides for a smaller sample size for measuring CO2.

  • Low Flow supplies provides for smaller sample size of CO2
  • Low Flow based on technology from Novametrix
  • Available in Pediatric or Adult sizes
  • Easy-to-use, cost effective and non-invasive
  • Sample lines have ability to sample CO2 and deliver O2 simultaneously
  • Latex-Free
