Imaging Techniques

This system is ready for clinical prime time. Read about the details behind this remarkable technology:

LAVA-Flex and VIBRANT-Flex

Providing exceptionally uniform, consistent fat suppression across the entire image in a very large field of view, IDEAL, LAVA-Flex and VIBRANT-Flex produce 4 contrasts in just 1 acquisition, for confident diagnoses and fewer repeat exams.

CubeTM

With CubeTM, you can acquire and reformat sub-millimeter isotropic 3D volume image data from a single acquisition into any plane-axial, sagittal, coronal or oblique - with no gaps or loss of resolution. New, self-calibrated ARC parallel imaging engine speeds up the acquisition, while eliminating aliasing even in small field of view (FOV) imaging.

3D MERGE

3D MERGE: Generating excellent gray-white matter contrast in the spinal cord without sacrificing SNR, this high-definition, 3D application acquires 1 mm slices in a clinically relevant scan time, enabling reformats in different planes.

3 Tof- spatial resolution

Time of Flight Imaging on the Discovery MR750 3.0T gives you more -more spatial resolution and more contrast between the flowing blood and the surrounding tissue- for more small vessel detail and more confident diagnoses.

DTI/FiberTrak

Now delivering improved performance, which can increase the number of slices up to 60% or alternatively acquire more diffusion directions in the same scan time, DTI/FiberTrak lets you easily visualize white matter trajectories in the brain. The Discovery MR750 3.0T is making fMRI even more functional and reliable

GE Healthcare introduces an enhanced version of PROPELLER on the Discovery MR750 3.0T

No Phase Wrap (NPW) technique: it allows virtually ghost-artifacts-free, motion immune scans in sagittal coronal, axial and oblique planes for T2 and T2 FLAIR. It also allows distortion-free diffusion weighted imaging.
More robust performing small FOV scans.
Significantly reduces motion artifacts caused by voluntary patient movement, and tremor or physiological motion including blood –and CSF- flow artifacts.
Optimizes SNR, capitalized as striking tissue contrast.
When used with DWI, PROPELLER 2.0 greatlyreduce tissue-air and bone-tissue susceptibility artifacts, such as those caused by metal implants.

Liver exam in 15 minutes

Imagine you could do a complete liver exam in a 15-minute time slot.
