Both the BiliBlanket High Output Phototherapy System and the Bilisoft provide continuous high irradiance therapeutic light that exceeds the 2004 AAP Guideline’s definition of "intensive phototherapy" to lower your patient's bilirubin. Alternative solutions are Spot PT white light phototherapy and Lullaby PT blue light phototherapy which meet as well AAP Guidelines.

The Giraffe SPOT PT Lite’s long-lasting metal halide bulb delivers high intensity, natural white light, providing more than 30 uW/cm2/nm irradiance in the all-important blue-green spectrum for maximally-effective phototherapy. The flexible light pipe delivers cooler light than traditional spotlights to reduce the risk of thermal stress on the infant. The Giraffe SPOT PT Lite combines exceptional convenience, performance and safety to provide the total package in phototherapy.

Biliblanket® Plus High Output

Offering on average more than 50 uW/cm2/nm of irradiance, the BiliBlanket HO provides the needed phototherapy for the treatment of jaundice by means of a convenient and lightweight fiberoptic pad. This developmentally-appropriate fiberoptic phototherapy solution allows the infant to be swaddled, held and cared for by parents and hospital staff, all while delivering “intensive phototherapy” as defined in the 2004 AAP Guideline. This compact and portable unit is ideal for both hospital and home care use.
