Main Hospital

With its official inauguration and commissioning last fall and equipped with state of the art medical technology, the Main Hospital aims to be the pioneer tertiary care center providing third and fourth levels of specialized medical care. Commissioning included inauguration of specialized centers of excellence in every major medical specialty to serve as a hub for excellence in medical care. With it 459 bed capacity, it consists of seven floors: Sub-basement, Basement, Ground and First through Fourth.


Children‘s Hospital

The hospital has been transferred to its new location on 7/4/1425H corresponding to 7/6/2003. The number of the beds in the hospital is 246 beds in addition to 47 beds in (NICU), currently, 140 beds are used.

The Children’s hospital at King Fahad Medical City is uniquely designed to give children the level of care they deserve wherein most advanced pediatric services are delivered in a dedicated, integrated, child-friendly and family-friendly atmosphere. Operated by well trained physicians with a state of the art facilities designed for children, the hospital has 7 floors: main hall, ground services hall, and floors from 1 to 4.
The ground floor includes emergency, outpatient, medical records, radiology department, physiotherapy, gastroenterology and endoscopy, external pharmacy and patients‘ affairs department. The first floor includes PICU, operating theatres. Other floors are for inpatient care. The transfer of Sulimaniah children‘s Hospital to children‘s hospital at KFMC is considered the first step in operating the city. This step shall play a great role in improving health services provided to patients by Ministry of Health.


Women Specialized Hospital

Officially inaugurated and commissioned on October 26,2003, the Women Specialized Hospital with its latest state of the art medical technology, is a pioneer tertiary care center providing comprehensive gynecology service to women, maternity services, and infertility service for women. With its 236 bed capacity, the Women Specialized Hospital has five floors consisting of Basement, Ground and First through Third.


Rehabilitation Hospital

Rehabilitation center was established 1393 Hijra in Riyadh City, as the first Rehabilitation center related to Ministry of Health executing the cabinet decision no. 689 dated in 26/5/1393 Hijra. The Rehab hospital’s main mission is to be a leading provider of high quality rehabilitation services in Saudi Arabia by treating Handicapped people, installing and manufacturing prosthetics and orthopedics for them, and preparing them to serve their community and country.
During the past period, the center provided huge services and expanded rapidly according to the new inventions in rehabilitation field. At the end of 1424 Hijra, Ministry of Health decision was issued to transfer the center to the Rehabilitation Hospital in King Fahad Medical City to be the core of the Hospital, which has 154 beds.
