Multi Slice CT: CT Perfusion

Clinical Case

Liver Metastasis of a lung tumor

CT Perfusion

  • The CT-Perfusion tool can be helpful in other applications where absolute quantification of the perfusion parameters is essential, providing a higher degree of diagnosis information for more informed decision making.
  • The patient having a lung tumor got a pneumoectomy on the left side. The histopathology is an epitelial carcinoma.
  • It is essential to visualise the blood volume and flow maps and understand the inhomogeneous distribution.
