The Xtream HD console incorporates a number of features designed
to improve ease of use and streamline operations. These advances
let clinicians and technologists adopt the workflow of tomorrow using
technology that’s trusted today. It also enables advanced clinical
features such as routine low dose imaging with ASiR technology
and extended coverage. From exam to reconstruction to reporting,
practices can improve capabilities.
Breakthrough in reconstruction speed
The Xtream HD console and reconstruction engine
are at the heart of these advancements.
They break through existing limits on speed, image
quality and flexibility to provide an optimized volumetric
workflow from acquisition to final report. The powerful
reconstruction engine nearly doubles the reconstruction
speed to up to 35fps.
Balance dose and image quality
In addition to ASiR’s power to lower dose (from LightSpeed
VCT XTe brochure), the Xtream HD console offers procedure
based protocols. Particularly important in pediatric
applications, these protocols help clinicians balance dose
and image quality to optimize patient care.
Volume review in routine
The One-Touch protocols personalize image presentations
to individual physician preferences, so volume-rendering
attributes, multi-planar reformats and image sizing
are automatically applied as the patient series opens.
With AW’s auto-segmentation tools, a touch of a button
removes unwanted bone or surrounding structures,
providing a ready to read CTA in half the time it would
take to do manually.
Fully integrated injector
The integrated injector interface is fully compliant
with CAN standards and enables to set up the injector
parameters automatically at the CT console.
This feature is called Class 4 Integration.
Advanced applications
Advanced post-processing tools available on the Advantage
Workstation (AW) are now available on the LightSpeed®
operator’s console like coronary analysis, Autobone
or even perfusion imaging.
