ASiR™ High Image Quality and Low Dose: Forget compromise

ASiR: Leading the way with image reconstruction. Typically, dose reduction causes an increase in noise and image artifacts. But GE’s industry-breakthrough Adaptive Statistical Iterative Reconstruction (ASiR) solves this by subtracting noise, not merely masking it. As a result, ASiR delivers enhanced image quality by improved low contrast detectability (LCD) whilst preserving anatomical detail.

ASiR enables dose reduction up to 50% for DiscoveryTM CT750 and up to 40% for LightSpeedTM VCT XTe, OptimaTM CT660 and BrightSpeedTM across the whole body. ASiR combined with SnapShotTM Pulse allows dose reduction up to 83% for cardiac exams.
