Streamline workflow

The Mac-Lab XT Hemodynamic Recording System is part of a comprehensive cath lab workflow infrastructure designed to help make you more efficient. More productive. Better able to efficiently and effectively care for your patients.


Wireless fractional flow reserve (FFR)

Mac-Lab XT works with the PressureWire Aeris Wireless FFR Measurement System by St. Jude Medical and the SmartMap pressure instrument by Volcano. With Mac-Lab XT, FFR is another hemodynamic measurement performed on the system - always available, without additional cabling required. The system calculates and displays the FFR value on the Mac-Lab XT recording system, eliminating the need for a separate FFR analyzer and set-up. Auto-acquire fluoroscopy images upon initiation of FFR, providing visual documentation of lesions being evaluated.


Applications to help optimize efficiency

The Mac-Lab XT includes navigation and documentation tools that can be used by clinicians who demand the most efficient lab system performance including: ST Segment, Holter, CardioTree, and Image Capture. Plus, the optional Centricity CA1000 PACS workstation license allows review and import of previously acquired images into the hemodynamic report, providing a more complete case record and eliminating the need for a separate workstation.

  • Collect registry data at the point of care, helping to minimize post-procedure chart pulls
  • Custom forms data allows up to 5,000 user-defined fields to be configured for data entry - collect the data the way you want
  • Comprehensive data export to GE and third-party registry and data management systems

Integrate images from PACS (optional for Mac-Lab XT)

  • Import DICOM images from PACS systems into the image library
  • Select any image in the image library to appear on the monitor screen
  • Allows images from previous studies to be displayed on the boom to help clinicians perform advanced image guided procedures
  • Import and annotate images in reports
  • Embed fluoro, U/S and previously acquired images into the case report, providing a more complete documentation of the procedure
