Centricity CA1000

Centricity CA1000 is GE’s next generation PC-based Cardiology image review and analysis workstation, which brings enterprise scalability and workflow enhancing integration to Cardiology imaging.
Centricity CA1000 is a primary diagnostic image review and analysis workstation, with many advanced image display and analysis tools.
In addition, Centricity CA1000 includes support for seamless integration with GE’s Cardiovascular InformationSystem (CVIS) product lines to improve departmental workflow and reporting efficiency.

Easy-to-Learn

The Centricity CA1000 application has an easy-to-learn and intuitive user interface, and runs on the popular Windows® 2000 or Windows XP operating systems, making it easy for anyone with basic PCskills to get started.
Centricity CA1000 combines deep functionality with a high degree of user specific configurability that enables advanced CA1000 users to customize the CA1000 application to meet their specific needs and preferences.


Connectivity

Flexible DICOM connectivity

Centricity CA1000 has comprehensive DICOM connectivity support which allows it to be easily integrated into any DICOM compliant imaging network. Centricity CA1000 can be configured toreceive or query/retrieve studies from almost any DICOM server, workstation, or modality.
The remote archive support in Centricity CA1000 also allows for the configuration of views to multiple archives, providing a way to easily access images stored on legacy archive systems, even as your PACS solution grows with new solutions.


Enterprise connectivity

Centricity CA1000 can be used in conjunction with GE's Centricity PACS-IW as a cardiology-centric PACS workstation in an enterprise imaging PACS configuration.
Centricity CA1000 has access to all images on the Centricity PACS-IW central storage, and can access images on-demand from Centricity PACS-IW similar to the radiology-focused Centricity RA1000 workstation.
This allows for Centricity PACS-IW to function as a central repository for all images, cardiology or radiology, and provides access to any study in the entire electronic patient jacket from the Centricity CA1000 workstation.


Cardiovascular Information System (CVIS) integration

Centricity CA1000 has the option of running Centricity CVIS client applications on the same workstation hardware, allowing for the creation of an integrated Cardiology PACS/CVIS Solution workstation.
This provides the user with the workflow and reporting tools of the CVIS application, combined with the image display and analysis tools of Centricity CA1000, working synchronously together in a single user desktop.
The integration between Centricity CA1000 and the CVIS allows for the sharing of patient and study display context between applications and the exchange of analysis and key image data from Centricity CA1000 to CVIS for inclusion in the CVIS generated cardiology report.
