GE Healthcare’s solutions for acute management span from our LightSpeed CT which delivers doubled scan coverage together with reduced radiation through dedicated angiography and perfusion packages, robust anatomical and perfusion imaging with automated analysis utilizing our Signa MRI systems, to plaque optimized Carotid and Cardiac Tissue Synchrony Imaging with miniaturized Ultrasound using Vivid series ultrasound systems. When there is a need for intervention beyond medication the Innova Single or Biplane systems provide dose and image quality optimized interventional X-ray imaging which is fully integrated with Patient Recording, IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound).

In acute stroke management the quicker and more accurate the diagnosis, the more likely the patient is to receive the optimal treatment resulting in better potential recovery and outcomes.
