Diagnostic Confidence with enCORE

Effective patient management requires a densitometer that delivers precise, accurate results.

enCORE, GE Lunar’s software platform, utilizes Windows XP Professional®* for seamless network integration with existing information systems, and to harness the power of the internet to expand your reach to referring physicians and patients.

Engineered to provide reliable results, automation, fast throughput, and ease of use, enCORE also provides useful visual cues to facilitate fast and effective training for new operators. More importantly, the automated acquisition and analysis routines reduce inter-operator variability. Consistent, accurate results are assured, even with multiple operators.

Femur

Automated Scanning

enCORE software uses the unique SmartFAN (Prodigy) / SmartScan(DPX PRO) feature to remove operator error from the acquisition process.

Only SmartFAN / SmartScan actively tracks the bone, and adjusts the scan, during acquisition for accurate data collection. Other densitometers require scout scans and utilize fixed scan windows that are defined by the operator.

One-Step AutoAnalysis

Excellent precision (reproducibility) is the key factor in detecting small changes in bone density. Inconsistent analysis is a major source of inter-operator variability when subjective operator decisions are required. enCORE’s AutoAnalysis calculates results in just one keystroke for fast, precise results in busy practices. Only GE LUNAR offers true, one-button analysis, eliminating operator decisions in over 90% of scans.

Report

Concise Reports

enCORE reports are concise and easy to interpret, improving communication with referring physicians and patients.

The report clearly displays the patient information, scan image, and the fracture risk assessment based on criteria established by the WHO.

enCORE also provides trending tables and graphs to assist physicians in monitoring changes in bone density over time.
