OneScan simplifies BMD measurements by acquiring a typical spine and DualFemur measurement in one automatic process with no patient repositioning between the measurements. OneScan requires less operator training and reduces necessary operator intervention. OneScan maintains the excellent accuracy and precision of the femur BMD results associated with DXA tables, and has no impact on the diagnostic quality of the spine results. |

"We conclude that elevating the legs has no clinically significant effect on spine BMD accuracy (1 %), or precision. In subjects where elevating the legs is difficult, a measurement with the legs down can be used without a significant impact on measurement accuracy or precision."*
