Sophisticated ventilation

Avance provides sophisticated ventilation capabilities with the 7900 SmartVent Ventilator, helping clinicians meet the needs of the full patient range. Expanded clinical capabilities for spontaneously breathing patients include Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation (SIMV) and PSVPro (Pressure Support with an Apnea backup mode).

Avance is now available with Pressure Control Ventilation - Volume Guaranteed (PCV-VG) mode on SmartVent. PCV-VG provides the physiological benefits of pressure ventilation, with the added security of consistent tidal volume. Combining the best of pressure and volume ventilation.

Integrated solutions

Avance offers one switch power up of elements and flexibility for different display options for monitoring hemodynamic, Adequacy of Anesthesia and respiratory data on full-color displays when equipped with Anesthesia Monitor. Consistent menus, quick key actions and alarm management minimize the need for training and reduce complexity during critical and non-critical events.

Electronic Gas Mixing

Avance is setting a standard for electronic anesthesia gas mixing systems by offering a 500-millisecond mixer response time, even during dramatic flow changes. Dual flow sensing technology ensures safe operation as gas flow is checked 200 times per second.

Advanced Breathing System (ABS)

Avance utilizes the ABS. This integrated breathing system enables easy on/off capability, facilitating easier cleaning and reduced maintenance time; ease of disassembly (no tools) and cleaning (fully autoclavable); and complete detection of the ABS utilizing integrated electronics. The integrated design of the ABS enhances the system’s elegance by minimizing tube connections and circuit volume, while increasing the work surface area.
