Airing NowHospital Acquired Infections:What You Need To Know You asked for help teaching your patients about MRSA and proper hand hygiene and we listened. Our program looks at what hospitals are doing to keep infection to a minimum. Specifically highlighted is methicillin-resistant staph aureus, or MRSA, and the steps being taken to fight MRSA infections. More importantly we'll explore what patients can do to help healthcare workers decrease patients' risk of hospital-acquired infections, including proper hand washing and sanitizing. This program helps meet The Joint Commission's 2008 National Safety Goal number 7.
