Marcelo Mosci is President and CEO of the Americas region of GE Healthcare, the $17b leader in medical and clinical diagnostic technology, information technology, life sciences, services and solutions. He was appointed to this role in October 2010. Marcelo returns to the Americas from GE Healthcare China where he established exceptional partnerships with the Chinese health authorities and medical organizations to serve the Country's burgeoning demand for a modernized health care delivery infrastructure. During Marcelo's tenure as President and CEO, GE Healthcare China experienced double-digit growth. Previously, Marcelo served as the President and CEO of GE Latin America for three years. Prior to his role in Latin America, he served as the GM for Global X-Ray from 2001-05 based in Milwaukee, Wis. In addition, Marcelo has held several leadership roles across GE including Global Sourcing, in Erie, Pa., and Operations Director for South America in Contagem, Brazil. During his 25-year career with GE, Marcelo has achieved distinguished a track record of leadership, commercial management and business growth in developed and developing markets. Mosci holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Catholic University, De Belo Horizonte, Brazil. |
