Dennis C. Cooke, General Manager, Global Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Hi, I'm Dennis Cooke, General Manager of GE's Global MR Business.

We have a lot of exciting developments at RSNA this year. And common to all is GE's continuing leadership in MR applications.

Let's start with the new Signa Infinity product line. How do you take the world's leading 1.5T technology and improve on it? By pushing the clinical envelope even further.

Signa Infinity now has the most comprehensive package of applications in the industry. Applications that only GE offers. Like 3D prostate and brain spectroscopy, less than 1 sec. Switching on Fluoro-triggered MRA, and spiral imaging.

Leading edge? Sure. But practical and reimbursable as well - with the potential to improve the quality of diagnostics for thousands of patients.

Be sure to spend some time exploring the new Signa Infinity TwinSpeed Dual Gradient system. Its breakthrough gradient architecture is a GE exclusive - the first to enable users to take full advantage of the power of high performance gradients.

The result is exceptional capabilities for advanced applications, such as stroke detection and dynamic heart coverage in one pass. What's more, TwinSpeed's exclusive Quiet Technology reduces in-bore acoustic noise by an amazing 40 percent. We continue to be very Open-minded at GE.

Signa OpenSpeed is the most popular high-field Open in the world. It's the first high-field open system, and has the largest installed base in the industry. And our new Signa Ovation widens the comfort gap with the industry's most spacious bore. Add Signa Profile to the mix and we not only have the widest selection of Open MR systems on the market, we're the fastest growing Open MR manufacturer in the industry.

Last - but certainly not least - is our real heavyweight in pure application power. Signa 3.0T - the first commercially available, whole-body 3.0T scanner in the world.

It's a remarkable system. Equally at home in the research lab or the imaging suite ... and capable of whole-body studies at twice the signal-to-noise ratio of a 1.5T system.

In fact, our clinical partners are so excited, they say Signa 3.0T will become the new platform for MR applications.

But you can judge for yourself at RSNA. Stop by the GE booth and we'll be glad to show you around and answer all of your questions.
